WHAT WE DO

Esperanza logo - final final.png

White Stone Ministries has developed Casa Esperanza Children's Home to provide a loving refuge for children who have been abandoned, abused, neglected and orphaned. Children are cared for in a home that is operated according to Biblical principles and children receive loving, nurturing care.

WHERE WE DO IT

Casa Esperanza Children's Home is located in Cuidad Acuña, Mexico. Acuña is located directly across the U.S./ Mexico border from the Texas town of Del Rio. Del Rio is 150 miles due West from San Antonio.

OUR  MISSION

White Stone Ministries, Inc. was founded in 1989 in the State of Texas. White Stone is recognized by the IRS as a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization. White Stone was formed to meet the needs of children who have been abandoned, orphaned, abused or neglected.

It has been said that these orphaned and abandoned children comprise the single largest harvest field for the Gospel of Jesus Christ, but sadly it is generally a forgotten harvest field.

We believe that something must be done to help the lost and dying homeless children. As Christians we believe that all children deserve a home where they can be raised in the “nurture and admonition of the Lord” [Eph 6:4]. This nurturing involves the whole being…spirit, soul and body. We must carry the Love of the Father to these little ones and demonstrate His Love by rescuing them and caring for them as unto the Lord.

Taking care of
Orphans is not
God's suggestion...

It's HIS command!

“He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the  hidden  manna to eat. And I will give him a WHITE STONE, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”  Revelation 2:17

Why White Stone?

In ancient times, a white stone had great significance. If a banquet or a special event was held by a king, people who were invited were given specific seating assignments at the king's table. If the king had invited someone whom he held in high regard and wanted to convey these special feelings of love, affection and respect in an intimate and private way, he would choose a special "pet" name for that person, then have it written or engraved upon a white stone. Then the king would have the white stone placed on the table at the seating placement of the favored individual. The white stone would be positioned so that the "new name" was on the underside of the stone, thus keeping the name secret from the other guests. Only the king and the preferred person would know this new name. Then in the future, whenever the king communicated with this privileged person, he would use this new name, conveying his favor and assuring the person of a special relationship between the two.

This is what Jesus says He will do for us. He will give to each person whom He calls an overcomer in this life, a white stone with a new name - a personalized pet name - that only He and the overcomer know.  When He talks with us, He will call us by that new name, conveying to us His love, affection and favor. This special communication between He and us is a mark of the special relationship we have with the King thoughout Eternity.

White Stone Ministries is all about creating overcomers who will enjoy this special relationship with the King of Kings. White Stone Ministries desires to reach out to the lost and forgotten children and young people and to give them a hope and a future by introducing them to our Lord. White Stone Ministries endeavors to train and disciple them, empowering them to reach ever higher, always overcoming for the glory of God.

White Stone Ministries has been awarded the
